Quote:These forums are currently closed for maintenance. Please check back later. I've discovered a likely cause of the problems with Mock's load times. When Frank exported the database on the old server, he did not include the table indexes. Unindexed tables are very inefficient, as it then has to read every record in the database PRIOR to the one it is looking for. Often causing the database server to read literally 1000's of records to find the ONE it is looking for. Mock will be returning as soon as I can manually reindex the tables. Thank you.
So the reason Mock has been running so slow is Franks fault?, I should have known really, when in doubt blame Frank.
He probably did it deliberately the vindictive little shit, just to try and sabotage the new forum, I'll bet he was watching the thread about the forum running slow and was having a good chuckle to himself the cunt.
We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.
The forum is far from running slow today. You were the one who exported the database. So yeah, it's your fault. Maybe you should have asked Dylan how to properly export a database instead of pretending you knew what you were doing?

Oh be quiet, hag. I did experience intermittent slowness and hangups with this site this morning. That is why I said it. That being said, if it was just on my end, I am glad the site is totally right. If other people complain over these next few days or report slowness at times, we can look to the typical shared hosting deal. Otherwise, go fuck yourself. We are supposed to report slowness.
As for the English Gump's comments about me wanting the site to fail, be slow, etc. that is of course stupid. I want the site to flourish for Duchess (and everyone) in part because I use it.
It's still running a little slow for me. Not as painfully slow as it was, but not great either. Either way it's Frank's fault, thanks for the great job you did fucking up the forum.

If it's slow report it in HQ where it belongs. Whining like a cunt here will get you nowhere.
Funny, wasn't Mock on shared hosting until I moved it in November? All the problems are due to your fucking up the database on import. Who knows? There could be more shit D finds when he gets home late tonight. He didn't find this issue until very late at night to begin with.
Don't tell me where to post, Control Hag. And yes, it was always fastest on my VPS. Before and after, more slowness. If I did something wrong somewhere, good. You can only improve if you make mistakes and learn from them.
