We had a “Tornado Watch” here from 8pm last night till 2pm today.
In addition, we also had a severe thunderstorm warning at the
same time.
I had to go for a medical procedure this morning, I left in dark
cloudy conditions, got to my docs office. Going home, it still was
dark cloudy conditions, and just started to rain a little as a I got
home. Stopped short while later. At 2:30 pm the Sun came out!

Thanks.
Procedure and recovery could have been better. One issue clears,
another pops up. Most important thing you can own is good health!

I've been having the most glorious weather for weeks now. I think I've only used the AC a grand total of 2 days. No humidity, no scary storms that morph into tornado warnings/watches, just perfection. It might be the nicest Spring I've ever had here. Ahhhhhh. Keep it coming.

For the past two weeks or so here we have been having house shaking thunder in the evenings, with high intensity lightning that lights up the sky!
Annoying, along with being a little scary.
I mean “house shaking thunder”, that resonates inside the house!

We had those storms for a while. They were pretty cool. And only 1 small fire start that I heard of.

Ours started out hot, then cooled, then hot, then rain and storms. Now it is just mellow. Not too hot. I like it.

County commisioners will be here today along with PUD and NPS. There is a "town hall" meeting tonight after work, I can't wait to hear what people have to say.

It's bad in Connecticut, but not that bad.
When are those Candian assholes going to get their fires under control?

One can check their air quality at this link. If you have concerns about clicking on it, you can google airnow.

I've been having dry, sore mouth/throat issues since April and I smoke cigars. I really haven't noticed much difference in my breathing and air quality. Sure it's been hazy and smelled like burning but Albany is a filthy city so I haven't noticed too much difference there either.
