This was taken with an iPhone13 at 6:20 AM New Zealand time. I can't wait to see where it is visible in the US.

Damn dog ate the phosphorus glow in the dark crayons again! No, nosy neighbors UFO aren't landing in our backyard, it's moist glow in the dark poop.

I was going to meet my friends at midnight, well I kept seeing posts that people could see it so I left and stopped near the airport first and it was amazing! I could not believe it. So I messaged everyone online at the building that has wifi and drove to my friends place and knocked on thier door. They were just watching a movie.
I'm glad I did because I left thier place around midnight and it was starting to fade by then. This was thier first time seeing it.

There was a star shaped formation just above us and colors all around us.

My phone wasn't picking it up-and I didn't have it on the right settings. My friend's phone picked it up perfectly.

I just read that! I sure hope so. It was overcast here all day yesterday and I saw a "cloud" map for my area which showed me to be completely covered so I knew I wouldn't get a chance to see this overnight. This morning I discovered the lights were seen all around me while I slept! Sumbitch!   I won't make that same mistake tonight.

I saw one shooting star and didn't really look north but somehow adjacent saw it.

yeh there were heaps of locals posting pics, absolutely stunning. I could see heaps of cars gathering down at the beach. I could see the car lights going there. The views are best down at the beach.

I've seen several clips of it now and it looks ah-mazing! One person had a cam set up on their ducks and when that thing lit up the sky the ducks made hella racquet.

I've been enjoying awesome weather the last few days. No humidity, thank you sweet baby Jesus. It's been so nice. Any day I don't have to use the AC is a great day.
