Finally rained a lot today, supposed to rain tomorrow too for a while. Maybe knock the temps down a little. Hate the humidity, it's like I'm back in Kansas.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Sunny & 80F here tomorrow.
Our friends are taking us out on their boat for the day on the St. Croix river.
It doesn't get much better.

Maggot, you're going to sweat your balls off tomorrow. Probably Clang & Donovan too.
I was sweating my balls off, too hot to even play Cornhole outside but the rain cooled things off a bit. Got in a smoke and the burgers cooked just before it rained. Played some pool, poker and watched some of the Olymics indoors after it started raining.

I drink hot coffee every morning no matter how hot it is outside. I turn my ac down so low at night that I have frost on my windows in the morning. It's not real good for the electric bill though.

Me too. My bedroom feels like a meat locker. I wouldn't be able to sleep otherwise.
I'm so freakin' grateful for AC. I don't know how people live without it.

Driving to a restaurant we like today, we drove past our local mall parking lot that is never even half full.
However today every parking spot was filled right up to the road, many people with out A/C were there enjoying the free A/C.

If I'm ever poor enough to go to the mall just for some cool air, just shoot me. I grew up in a house with no AC. We had an AC unit, my jew ass parents just wouldn't turn it on.
I can remember the sound of the box fans in the windows and the smell of whatever they cooked for dinner lingering in the sweltering heat. These were people that made 20 bucks an hour in the early 80s. My dad was a cartographer and my mom was a physical therapist. All that money they saved on AC did us a world of good.

I was just reminding myself of how unhappy I am when I'm confined during the winter months. It didn't work the way I had hoped.

Unfortunately for me, I was not confined during the winter months. As over my working years I spent several hundreds of hours driving on/in that white sfuff! I've had my fill of SNOW & ICE! So winter time SNAKEland (I HATE SNAKES) it is for me!

Just saw this on the news, if you believe the Almanac look out.
The Farmer's Almanac is releasing its 200 th edition this month -- and unfortunately for warm weather fans, 'the ice cold winter is back.'
Bone chilling cold is returning!

I hope that bitch Mother Nature isn't teasing me.

Yay! Maybe I'll actually be able to wear my lady clothes without sweating my tits off. Might actually be able to take some pics of me en femme this Labor Day weekend. My brother was invited to a friend's brother's bachelor party that weekend I was not. Now just gotta worry about Dad.

Do you ever take him to your local Senior Center where he can hangout and do things with people his age? They have fun activities and go places, they have dinners and casino nights.

Going to be in the 90's here all week which is unseasonably cool. Had a lot of monsoons this year. I've never seen the mountains so green before.
