Do you ever take him to your local Senior Center where he can hangout and do things with people his age? They have fun activities and go places, they have dinners and casino nights.
I've suggested that to him...many many times. He doesn't want to do that. He'd rather be grumpy/angry, annoy the fuck out of my brother and me, complain, come out of the house only to do laundry and eat dinner with us, but only when he is feeling well enough to wash himself. I swear I'm going to go broke from Febreezing the couches.

I'd love to chase a tornado.
However, I'd be dumb enough to take a wrong turn and get sucked up into the vortex.

I'm looking for them too. I want to party with some Flying Monkeys. They make the best banana flavored alcoholic drinks. Plus I want to find out if the rumors of Glinda being a naughty witch are true.

I wouldn't mind a nice storm. Nothing that kills anyone of course, but rain and roof damage is always good for my husband's business and my pocket.

I wouldn't mind a bit if it comes up the coast and gives me a couple days of rain. I love a rainy day.

As long as it rains after Labor Day weekend, I don't care. I want fair weather for the Fair.

Here comes Hermine, right over top of you. She's headed to me next and I'm lovin' the idea of a weekend of rain.

There's a chance my power might be knocked out and that fucks up my aquarium every time. The last time was while I was sleeping and something malfunctioned and about 15 gallons of water flooded my living room floor. That's my main concern right now, that stupid aquarium and the fish. Other than that I welcome the storm.

I use a Rheem 16-20kw its been used 3-4 times in the past 4 years once for 2 days and it does eat up a bit of propane. i bought the floor model when the newer models came out and got a great deal. The transfer setup cost almost as much as the unit.

Sally, how's it going? Someone told me a little while ago that it was just light rain in Jax.

It poured down between 5am and 8 and now it's just windy and sunny out.
I could have used that generator when we had those four hurricanes in a row in 2004. That sucked, no sooner did they get the power back up after one hurricane another one would come. Charley was the worst. It didn't sound that bad from inside the house, but when I looked outside the next morning I couldn't believe the damage it did. You couldn't even get down the street past all the debris.

You could put a dbl male plug on any old generator and just plug it into any plug to charge your house. Just make sure the power is off from the street before you do. Its enough to run the kitchen and maybe the ac.

Maybe you should fill one of your tubs so you have water for flushing and outdoor solar lights work in a pinch if you haven't got candles/lanterns.
