I've seen some tailgate party's and some people go all out with tents, pig roasts, kegs and nakedness.

Simply spike all beverages with paint thinner and you won’t feel the cold at all.
On another note, Minneapolis has the best skyway system of any major city anywhere. You can walk from one end of the city to the other without going outside if that’s what you choose to do. It’s really turned into a foodie city as well. Great restaurants and bars, and the cold will keep you in. I read a great article this past Monday saying essentially that a Minnesotan would never choose the month of February to show off their state.

Did anyone catch this video from Iowa on one of the pile up crashes that happened? Oh my gosh it is a scary video to watch.

Poor visibility and slippery slick roads, and still many of them were going what looked like around "60" mph!!! Not a smart thing to do! They paid the price.

What about the ones that were going slow only to get rammed in the back! Those that pulled way over to the side were smart. Getting out of your vehicle-not smart. Someone died that way, not in that crash but another crash in Iowa.

Since Saturday around noon I've gotten 3.14 inches of rain. It was 65 degrees yesterday afternoon while it was pouring. It's raining now but not as heavily as it has been.

Every early spring if the mountains get a decent amount of snow they get like that, then around end of April /May the fishing gets good.
