Gas Buddy data is showing that 24% of the stations in Florida are out of gas. That's a tremendous amount.

This person is a Florida congresswoman. The day before she posted the following comments she voted NO to funding FEMA, 100 other republicans voted against funding FEMA's disaster relief fund as well. You can bet your ass many of them will have their grubby little paws out for some Socialism after this hurricane season. To be quite clear, she is a lying cunt.

One of the reasons I’m an independent voter and have voted Republican in some cases in the past is the GOP used to be the party of cutting waste, balancing budgets, reducing the national debt yada yada. That all seems to have gone out the freaking window (Trump certainly didn’t reduce the debt; I don’t think any administration has in ages). Nobody even talks about it anymore. It went way up under Trump and that was before Ukraine and the surge of illegal immigration during the first almost 3 years of Biden. I don’t totally disagree with u on this one but I don’t blame it on Ukraine or illegal immigration. I think we need to take a hard look at SS, Medicare, corporate taxes, tax loopholes used by the wealthy, aid to freaking EVERYONE, how individual states siphon money to satisfy their lobbyists/local constituents and on and on… Commando Cunt Queen

I think you'd have to go back to the Republican Party under Eisenhower to see fiscal responsibility. Nixon had to shut the gold window because of the cost of the Vietnam war, and the only Republican I know of that's advocated for reining in the military-industrial complex is Ron Paul. I know the party has that reputation but it's a load of horse manure, just like the notion that Ronald Reagan was an American hero. All they want is to redirect the money spent on social programs to the military. When you take that into consideration, Trump is just another pimple on the pig's patoot, and not at all the biggest one -- not because he's a better person, because of the circumstances surrounding the different administrations.

Not to downplay what the west coast is about to get, but we have the most peaceful, relaxing weather right now. Lots of rain and wind gusts about 25 mph. Mother nature at her finest until she unleashes the beast.

One common theme that seems to occur around hurricanes is people (be it the general population, meteorologists or politicians) saying, as the hurricane unfolds, “well, it doesn’t look as bad as it might have been”. The next day they’re finding roads impassable, bridges collapsed, buildings destroyed and dead bodies stuck in flooded homes or cars…
I think they should just shut up until the day after when they get an actual opportunity to survey damage. Commando Cunt Queen

They shouldn't even say shit at all. Let us just find out by surprise. Instead they scare the shit out of everyone and evacuate 3 million people straight to where the Hurricane ends up going.

It's hard to buy oil and other resources with debt money when nations have a choice to accept money that isn't debased. BRICS is increasingly providing that choice. The end result is going to be austerity, which is how it always goes for debtor nations. Again, don’t totally disagree (and I’m not willing to do a data search at this point) but I DO value strong spending on defense and the military. I’m not an isolationist and I feel safer knowing we’re investing a crap ton in our military and hopefully preventing cyber warfare not to mention space defense. I’m also sure that we’re overpaying for everything we’re investing in in that regard which I think is a huge problem. The other term that I was looking for was pork barrel spending. Bad. We could definitely do better. Commando Cunt Queen

Absent 100% accuracy, (which we clearly don’t have) seems like they need to send everyone north (way north). IDK. Commando Cunt Queen

It doesn’t negate that disaster money is separate from money sent to foreign nations and/or spent on immigration... The reason we have military bases around the world is because we rely on gunboat diplomacy and they're needed to project power. This undermines the rule of law, and by extension our national defense, because it creates an extreme degree of resentment. We're hated because of this, and the hatred ends up becoming a pretext for doing more of what caused the hatred. The people who benefit don't care because they're globalists who live to suck the wealth out of nations. This has been going on for hundreds of years. Empires benefit the few at the expense of the many. National treasuries are emptied, the empires collapse, and the criminals abscond with their ill-gained loot. The military-industrial complex is antithetical to a strong national defense because it corrupts the military. The team players rise up the ranks, those who blow the whistle get the boot. The waste and fraud is difficult to fathom. If you'd like to better understand this I recommend reading Major General Smedley Butler's War is a Racket. I'll link it below. https://ratical.org/ratville/CAH/warisaracket.pdf

Listening to the weather reporters was annoying. It hasn't changed at all.

The storm can go, but I'll keep the cold air. I just got a warning for a flash flood in my area, but there isnt even a puddle on the ground. I guess that's the meaning of a flash flood, it will come in a flash. |
