He was born a sinner because a naive Garden couple believed a talking snake and ate some forbidden fruit ... and God, not being vengeful, mean, or vain, decided that everyone from that point onward must be born with serious issues that can only be solved through heavy worship and praise.

But this 'bishop' has got more money than any of us? hey?

Did everyone here the news that it has come out that James Dean was molested by a minister after his mother died at the age of 11. That is so sad and sick it makes me want to puke my guts up.

In another post, you said that Cracker must have had a "negative experience" because of her views about Christian-stick-up-their ass people. But here, you're talking about puking your guts out over actions by Christian "leaders". Do you get it? One doesn't necessarily have to have a personal negative experience to have distaste for organized religion.

FFS, my 12 year olds would have understood this without explanation.

You know username I abhore this kind of corruption more than anyone. I hate hypocrisy and lies. I would like to be able to express that. I don't think it should be hidden or shoved under the carpet. Sometimes people can have negative church experiences I would think especially if they grow up in the bible belt. You know I don't go to church because I have been burnt so many times by hypocrisy and judgement. I married someone who was not a christian, and divorced. Its not a good look in church. I am now a single parent. My social status is the lowest in church, I don't go and I don't think they want me there anyway. And I have tried a few churches.

I went to the biggest church in australia in the 1980's and guess what the senior pastor who was/is famous in this country, had a big scandal by running off with the church secretaries twin sister. Before that, he and his family were treated like royalty by the large congregation. I have seen a lot of hypocrisy. And, I am not perfect either, but I don't pretend to be, I am very honest about my imperfections and shortcomings. I don't pretend to be something I am not. Yes, i have my beliefs, but I am not judgemental of others or think I am better than others or anything like that.

For the record, its Saturday I have worked hard this week and yes.....I am kicking back.

Cheers i hope i didnt come across as preachy and self righteous. I really love gay people but i loathe hypcorisy in the church and these people are supposed to be kind and caring and making the world a better place. Instead they are all puffed up and act like popstars.
