Let me preface this by saying I haven't investigated this at all, I could be talking out my ass. *shrug*

Apparently there is a reality show that follows teen moms, in a sense, teen pregnancy is glorified. I lost my virginity as a teenager but, I had enough sense to protect myself, I had plans, goals that I wanted to realize & babies were not part of that plan. Does society now think that teen parents are acceptable? Whatever became of getting an education & becoming established before starting a family?

Hey ..........Americas Princess never got pregnant as a teen, at least not that I have heard. Don't be a hater because she is richer, smarter or has legs all the way up to her ass. My Mother had 5 kids between the age of 17-23 she was a good Catholic girl. But today has a negative attitude towards religion.

I know that women of that generation had their babies when they were very young. I don't hold that against them, my Mom was one of them. Young people were more mature back then & I never meant to imply that ALL females who got knocked up as a teen are worthless bitches. Some have their act together, most don't.

I don't have a doubt in my mind that I'm smarter than Paris Hilton.

I haven't seen the show. I've heard some people say that it's supposed to show how hard it is to be a teen mom vs. glorifying it but I don't believe it.

I know that there are exceptions (like Sally) but most teens just aren't ready to be parents. They typically don't have an established career yet, it's extremely difficult to go on to college unless you have a wealth of family support, money is typically tight, relationships often don't last at that age and on and on and on. Anything that remotely glorifies that is shit programming.
