Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered

I went to the benefit and unfortunately there is nothing to report. I got there at 12:30 and announced i was there to support the Straub family. The hostess sat us at a random table. I asked the waiter when the benefit started and he said it already did. Half the days proceeds go towards the fund. I asked if anyone from the family was there and they said he didn't see anyone. They thanked me for my support. I have to say I was a little disappointed. I wonder if anyone else had a better experience.

I learned from a VERY reliable source today that LE knows who the perps were. Suffice to say that some of the recent contributors here were right on the mark.

I think what they're waiting for is DNA evidence to be returned before any arrests are made.

Sadly, what we have heard about LS being tortured is evidently correct. Worse than we've read here I'm told.

As if this wasn't horrific enough from the beginning, the confirmation of torture makes it even worse. For some reason, my first thought when I read that was M*P*Y - this was the work of a special type of sadist and quite likely someone who's used to this type of brutality. I'd put my money on him and AP, and TW up to her neck with the setup and the alibi after.

To LC, with your experience in LE, have any of the departments you worked in ever used *mediums* or as they prefer to be called in this type of work *cold case psychics*? I was just curious about this and did a little reading online. I found that most states (police) departments don't find them credible, although quite a few found them helpful in many cases. What's your opinion on this?

some depts. will use them on occasion, but my sheriff didn't.

frankly i think it's a load of bollocks. and a scam 98% of the time. but i only speak for myself.

With that being said, what time frame are we looking at for DNA results? I know that some testing takes longer than others, but its been nearly a month- do you have any idea, how much longer it may be?

I'm new here. But I've been reading for a long time. I know that they have somewhat of a profile of the type of person or persons who committed the crime (ex. unorganized...etc...) I'm just wondering if the local Sheriffs department is making use of all the resources they have in the FBI offering assistance and using them to get a possible profile of the suspects (ex. white, 20's, issues with maternal love, etc.) Anybody have any input on what they think the profile might look like?

Wow! I just looked at grandma w myspace for the first time. What happend to grandma's wearing dresses to their ankles and baking sugar cookies and walking into their house and it smelled musty? That's what my grandma was like anyways. Grandma w is the most gangsta of all of em. She's got pictures of baby bottles full of soda and codeine. I realize we're all very interested in this case and are starved for information. However, I'm reluctant to be any more specific out of fear of compromising the investigation.

Mostly I felt compelled to share with other Mockers that things ARE proceeding and that LE has not let this case go cold. I know it's easy to jump to that conclusion when there's an absence of information from LE; I was getting frustrated myself.

Thank you for sharing that much. I agree with you that if we share more it might compromise the investigation.

It is NO more than a 20 minute drive (if that). Maytee has stated over and over, that her husband kicked in the door, AFTER the police left that second time (2:44 a.m.). She then said, they had to call the police right back (3:50 a.m.) after breaking in the door, finding the bodies.

UNLESS the 911 time of 3:50 a.m. is incorrect and it should be 2:50 a.m. That makes MORE sense.

Something just DOES NOT add up....it has been making me CRAZY for over a week now.
