my thoughts EXACTLY..... I know that Wingate takes on some pro-bono work...and he likes to get himself involved with the "high profile" cases...which if this turns out to be a death penalty case, it will be. Not that Destiny will be a death penalty case, but Sam and Cam might be. it is just so ODD that she was charged with obstruction, has a really high bond and a really really high powered attorney.... Maybe she's not cooperating with LE and someone with a vested interest in this case is paying for Wingate so she doesn't talk. who knows ?? But I think he came on scene too fast for him to be "court appointed"... just IMO.

I was SUPER surprised that some of the other high profile attorneys didn't come forward to represent Sam and Cam....

About Owens: I think I might have already written about this, but Owens is a local community college. It means absolutely nothing that all these thugs "attend Owens"...everyone attends Owens. Everyone on welfare "attends Owens" cause in Ohio you have to be "getting an education" to get more than 2 years of cash assistance.... Don't get me wrong, it's a completely legit school and has a good reputation. But it is what it is...a BIG community college.

Now Momma Clarke is under no gag order, it's just court personnel and attnys, etc. I do find it odd that she has switched gears and is laying low. I know for a fact that LE has been telling her to STFU for months, and she hasn't...so why now? nervous? upset? .... who knows.

Fabulous the families are also under a gag order, but it is easy for them to keep at this point because even they do NOT know what the evidence is. They are just as on pins and needles as we are, unfortunately. I should make clear this information is from the Straub side, all of this tip lipped silence is to maintain the integrity of the evidence and ensure a conviction. As for this Destiny chick, her FB is under Destiny xxxx and her bond is very high for good reason. I nor the family know that reason and will not until LE/prosecutors etc. is ready to reveal it at trial, as it should be. Living in Toledo my whole life, I must agree the Blade often gets it's fact completely wrong and as much as we all want to know, it's better they aren't privy to any evidence. They have already made mistakes with the tiny bits of information they do have, such as the bodies being found in the basement, then the kitchen, then the basement etc. It seems that the basement claim has been reported by the Blade on occasion not because it is factual as much as the staff reporter has confused information with the 911 tapes where Maytee herself refers to bodies in the basement. IMO as much as I am extremely curious about the facts and evidence, I respect and know it to be a very positive sign that nothing has been leaked because it only strengthens the prosecution's case. I can wait till January as long as these two victims and their families are able to get some justice.

You are right! The DL mentioned, has two FB's, (the other FB is on her friends list).. there are pics in the albums and it does not look like the Madrid that is in custody.
