if you want a job in community or in any hospital system or childcare etc, you need a police check and it costs around $50 and it has to be current. thats across australia. although i dare say there would still be some crims in the system.

hidden camera on one of the current affair shows here the other night caught a male community nurse stealing from a patient in the community with a hidden camera. so glad he got busted.
