An Amber Alert was issued Monday morning after two young girls were abducted by their father from a home in the city of Bellflower, authorities said.
Stephen Andrew Litwin, 34, allegedly took Katelyn Joyce Litwin, 2, and Natalya Patricia Litwin, 6, Sunday at about 10:30 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect has reportedly made threats to harm his two daughters, the Sheriff's Department said.
