Hi All--New here. Hope I get it right! Been lurking here for days now and reading everyone's posts! I live a couple of blocks from crime scene...and yes people are still nervous that no one has been arrested. IMO--cops know who did it. IMO--Maytee set up robbery but had no intentions of a murder.
Love this site! Thanks for having me

It's hard to admit, but I believe the same thing. I don't think she wanted anyone dead, and now she feels guilty as hell!!!!!

There's just too much information and speculating going on in there. I'm not from there, and am not a Facebook member. Thought I'd share the one opinion I had with this Newbie.

i'm not a facebook member either. i loathe it, except it's a great investigation tool.
all opinions are welcome in there, nomatter what state they are from. your opinion hasn't been discussed, and would be interesting.

LC, are you serious? No one else has speculated that Maytee set up the robbery? That's mind-boggling. I'd have thought that many people would've suspected her involvement a long time ago.

I honestly haven't been reading for the past month or so, but, I came to that conclusion after the first few weeks. She knows the perps, but can't turn them in, because they'll implicate her.

out of over 1000 pages, i am sure it has been mentioned as a possibility. i can't recall if it was ever really discussed at length. i think people are loath to think the mother could have played a role. i know some people do hold that theory privately.
knowing the killers is very possible, even likely. playing a role in what went down is another step up.

where the hell did the newbie go? posted and ran! sheesh.
i'd rather discuss the case in the thread.

Me too, if I felt like wandering over there. Just know I won't be surprised when she's named as a co-defendant.

Hey-- Sorry---trying to figure this out. thought I was smarter! Found you guys skulking around the internet. IMO Maytee hated Straub's--they had everything she didn't---even her son. Wanted to get back at them but it all went wrong JMO

Hi Kitty. You'll notice you and I have been members since Feb '11, and you have 3 times as many posts as I do, so I'd say I'm not a 'post whore'.

Honestly, it takes too much effort to keep up with all the posting in that thread. I don't have the energy.

I do feel bad for those kids, and Lisa's parents. And, while I think Maytee planned an 'easy' score for someone she probably owed money to, she hardly envisioned her son dying.

It's tragic, and I hope they arrest someone soon.
