I'm pretty sure if I was in a union and basically getting guaranteed wages (or at least collective bargaining), benefits, pensions that the rest of us in the REAL workforce have to compete for, I wouldn't object.

But yeah, I object. Unions....let the shit rise to the top.

Wow it must be really tough going to work every day without knowing how much you are getting paid, or what benefits you might receive. (Your statement seemes to alllude to a fact that only union workers get guaranteed wages and benefits.) In my place of employment, when the shit rose up, they got fired. Now days, with all the drastic cuts in the workforce, everyone has to bust ass. The cake jobs don't even exsist anymore. Those jobs are outsourced to contractors.
