The Constitution is not a living document, it is thinking like that that has gotten us to where we are today.
The Constitution was written so that even the uneducated illiterate of the day could understand it and know their personal freedoms were taken care of and government would not be able to enslave them through corruption and abuse..
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

True dat...the constitution was written for the protection of the people...but in turn, the things written in that document have given the Supreme Court the means to go against the will of the people.

No, the supremes had to change the intent of the document, they have over thought it and in fact have taken from it it's original intent, based almost completely on thinking like yours.
The living document Idea of the Constitution is being ramped by people willing to sacrifice our original and god given freedoms.
Gun control is a good example.
where does it say anyone has the right to regulate guns? the simple words "shall not be infringed" have been made to say except the federal government and local authority can regulate guns if they want to.
"common sense" gun control swept this nation and the 2nd has little meaning today.
regulation is regulation no matter the disguise it is wrapped in.
