in 1998 i was an onstage guest on her show. (nothing salacious, sorry)
sadly it was during the beef trial so i didn't get to go to Chicago and shop, i had to go to east armpit Texas.
however i was treated first-class all the way...from a monster limo that picked me up in Key Largo and took me to Miami airport, and a flight to Fort Worth. where i had to get on a scary as hell prop job to the destination.
another limo ride to a surprisingly nice hotel. all expenses, all booze, anything i wanted the entire time! i even tried to order a couple cowboys from room service. i didn't get those.
we taped the show, it was a lot of fun, she was very gracious and thoughtful. sat and chatted in the "green room" which was all set up with goodies.
i was surprised she is almost as tall as i am.
after the taping i went to hotel bar and the entire audience was there and wanted to talk to me and party! it was a blast! those poor Texas people had to be bored because they treated me like a celebrity. :B
all in all i had a great time. but oddly enough the show really bored me over the years, i never watched it after i was on.

I'm dyiing for more details. Better yet, a link! Much as I might not like her (from a distance), that sounds pretty cool.
User, I'm not calling you a racist, I don't happen to think you are, I've read every single post you have ever made & you strike me as being fair & tolerant.

Oprah is very very possessive of her property, and when someone tried to post the show online, it was removed right away. i have my own personal tape, but that's all.

Pooh. I heard somewhere that there's a 25 year Oprah boxed DVD set. Maybe I'll buy it, find your show and then send the entire set to Maggot for Christmas.

See?, user is still desperate to touch the magic that is Oprah!
(I have never seen her show by the way, just parodies of it on comedy shows).
