I had to wonder about that as well, but then one of my ex's is a fat ass yet loves his racing bike and rides it fairly often. They're not necessarily exclusive.

I must also add that you guys seem quite friendly also. Lots of places just ignore you when you start out, so it is really hard to fit in and get into the flow of things.
