I had to look up what ketamine is. It is linked with the opioid receptors in the brain and then increases the drug interaction of the opioid receptors. I wouldn't be surprised if she has overdosed via respiratory depression. Because, she had comprimised lung function, so it is not uncommon with opioids to have depressed lung function. In fact, they use morphine with end of life or patient controlled analgesia with decreased lung function for this purpose.

If she didnt get the amount of oxygen needed to keep her muscles body moving then the heart can't keep beating. The heart needs oxygen and she already had comprimised lung function, so the heart would have already been under stress.

The problem with the druggies, is that they either don't care or don't understand the full impact on their bodies physiologically. Like if the ketamine binds the opioid receptors in the brain to increase the "high" then it will also increase the respiratory depression that opioid use causes too. As the breathing and heart rate are regulated via the brain.
