Hey all,
Found Mock, from chasing news on Celina Cass. Kept coming back to your site here, because it was straight up from the hip. Not having to wade through 50 posts of other peoples comparisons or going off topic..to find out what is going on.
Not having to read through (other online forums) people posting feeling sorry this that or the other for the pos parents of Celina. I have no sympathy for any of them. Nice to see here if you want to express your true feelings you can ..and don't have to worry about being " politically correct". Or getting smacked for writing how you really feel.
I post on Dreamin' Demon, on local news Detroit cases, or on news of a child that grabs me so hard, I have to say something. I am a Mom of one, who is about to turn 21, out on her own. I feel I have to keep up on what is going on, local or not. What comes around goes around. Then you have the Kevin Bacon rule. I swear too many times the most heinous of cases are tied to something or someone that is of MI.
I read on your forum you covered the little 5 yr old Detroit girl, Mariha Smith. She was reported missing by her mother. She found in the burned out house next door. Shaking my head on that one. I don't believe anyone will ever know what happened to that baby. What ever happened to her, it was brutal. I suspect alike everyone else, sexual abuse, no one can confirm it though. Nothing left of her to prove that did happen. They are saying now that they know for sure, her skull was crushed and her body was beaten, prior to being set on fire. Can we say we need the DP in Michigan? Yes. Boyfriend of sister arrested or not. Case is now in the hands of the courts. NOT LE. That's the way they roll down town. They will smack him hard if they have enough evidence. Who knows with the Aunt. The one thing that the mother needs is birth control. One dead precious baby, Jesus.. and all the Kids, 4 including little Mariha, all share the same toothbrush, could not even get DNA for the little one. Aug 6, Detroit News, reported boyfriend of sister is not yet " confirmed" to be arrested. The family and public say he is arrested. Nothing said about the sister. From the article, Mariha's death was the 206th homicide in Detroit as of Aug. 1, compared with 179 through the same period a year ago. Nice.
I was on a forum for a long time that covered missing and exploited children. I am a fact digger. If its outs there, I will find it and post it if you allow me to hang out. I want to know what is up, because the news and LE will only share so much. Let us sit and bake and wait. Naw can't do it. I have myself been a victim of crime, not once, but a few times, imagine that, here in my area. If you do not find out for yourself, no one will do it for you. That's it in a nutshell, no pun on my chipmunk.
I chose the name Gimme Shelter, one because I am a huge fan of the Rolling Stones and two I feel that is what is today, we are fighting a War to protect the children. Collectively if we use our wits, share between each other, if we can save one kid from harms way.. then its a good day. Can't save the world but ONE Kid is good enough for me.

i have no idea why Dickie has suddenly taken to telling newbies i covet their respective asses. that's his inexplicable new welcome lately. just ignore it.
i have to say, i don't particularly enjoy that tiny font, however i was happy to note i didn't need to wear glasses to read it. a test of my superb eagle-like vision as it were.
i also wish to note i am a big squirrel and chipmunk fan, and have many of the happy little woodland creatures as my "pets". so you either knew that coming in, or it's a happy coincidence. be advised, there is a chipmunk killer here.
re: Mariha Smith. i am wondering whether the 'missing' aunt is in fact deceased. it IS Detroit after all.

Thank you. You are correct, I am a refugee from another board. Knit and Pray you're not kidding GAH. I was not banned. I left. I broke free around 7 mos ago. Never went back, not going back. It's cool. No hard feelings on either side. Just had to get outta of there.
On the squirrels, chipmunks, no I didn't know you were a fan. Good to know. My property is like Squirrel Island. I cannot even count them in the early am. Swinging from branch to branch. I used to name them, but the older ones who lived here first, have either passed or moved out. I had one huge red squirrel that I named Sanford after Redd Foxx. He was slow and had a huge belly. He would come to the back door and I would feed him. He was a character. Have not seen him in over a year. :(
I have a chipmunk that lives under my porch. I should say a family, they all look alike right. There is one that has no fear. It leaves gifts for me next to my front door. Maybe it's paying rent. Every few months next to the planter on the ledge, always in the same spot, I find a 1⁄2 eaten something, as if it wants to share. I would say I am squirrel, chippy fan too. As long as they stay outside. That is another story for another day.

Thinking of what you said about the " Sister" in the case of Mariha, you could be right. No one has said a peep of where she is. Nuthin.
She may have been the next victim of boyfriend * when he was running, he who likes to batter, beat, rape and play with gasoline, his reason, you talk too much. LE will never say nothing, unless they find her body. Then she will become a 10 second blurb on the Detroit news. It IS Detroit. Yes it is.

Gimme, i have to tell you the tiny font with that color is really off-putting. i may even change it so others may read.
we'll get along great, my yard is heavily wooded, i have all kinds of 'pets', i name them too.
my favorites are my gang of huge wild turkeys.
all the little creatures wait for me at the kitchen door in the mornings, it gives me a lot of pleasure to watch them. at last a kindred spirit! you'll find lots of animals in the photography forum. Duchess loves the little furry woodland critters too, and has lovely deer.

Thanks for the words. I appreciate. I know what your saying about "some" Sluethers. That is mainly the reason why I defected from the other. I cannot handle that shit.
The personality of some sluethers who act like it's their show and you are allowed to buy tickets. They are not mods, yet they think they can road patrol others. Speaking of Turkeys, Omg we had in my neighborhood a Pheasant. He was living on my street. We have no clue where he came from. He was following the mail man on his route for months. You would see him walking, and the bird following him from behind. The mail man to walk up to the houses, the bird to walk paces behind, wait, and then trail along with him to the next house...
He has not been seen in awhile. A neighbor told me that some woman called animal control on him. She woke up and he was on top of her car. She must have threatened him with something, he tried to beak her.. so she called AC.
Not cool, she should have left him alone. He was the neighborhood mascot for awhile .. now where is he?

hahaha i can't recall where i put the photos, we had a wild turkey here on Cape Cod where i live, attacking the mail truck! he made national news, i have pics and a video i'll try to find.

I watched the video. Omg that is insane. And alike to what this bird was doing here. He was fascinated with the mail man. We think the pheasant was male, due to it's brilliant bright colors.
The mail man was walking his route, I was outside in my drive way. He yelled to me, You like Turkey? I turned and I looked and sure enough there was a HUGE BIRD of many colors walking each step with the mail carrier.
He walked and stopped mid side walk. The bird was trotting behind him, the bird almost fell face first bec he didn't expect the mail man to stop in his tracks. That is how close he was trailing him. It was so funny, I watched him go to the mail boxes across the street. The mail man had to open the one mail box on the porch.. the bird watched him" stretching his neck" taking the mail out of the bag and looked up to see if he got it into the box right. Then the mail man proceeded to walk back down towards the side walk .. the Bird mimicking his every move. I wish I would have had a video camera. Was hysterical. I didn't see him again, until a week later. Where was he? The Bird? He was laying under the govt owned Mailbox at the corner, watching cars drive back and forth. What is it about Mail and BIG Birds??? must have been waiting on the mail carrier's truck to empty the box ... hah.. too funny.
