I love when nature is so impressive. It's the mutant power thing I love. ::bigg::

Because spider silk is so strong - stronger even than steel, lightweight and very, very stretchy - scientists have been attempting to create artificial silk that could be used for a huge host of commercial applications, from medical sutures to clothing.

all those years in florida, and never had a spider bite. first month here in the woods in Mass. i was bitten by what was probably a brown recluse. my foot turned purple and swelled to the size of an NFL football. scared me silly! now, i see a spidey, he gets whacked with my baseball bat! ::batguy::

you can keep those big hairy beasts on your side of the pond! ::bigg::

how would you like one of these cute camel spiders? 25

my son was in egypt, sprayed one with an entire can of RAID and it walked away! :shock:
