SYNTHETIC POT
#1

I had no idea there was such a thing. Did you?

It killed a kid.

I'm trying to understand how natural, true weed is illegal yet, fake pot can be manufactured & sold.

No, I didn't know there was synthetic pot.

They just need to legalize the real stuff.

California Doctors’ Group Says Legalize Marijuana
by Source on October 17, 2011 ·

in California, Health

by Phillip Smith

California’s largest doctors’ group is calling for marijuana legalization. The trustees of the California Medical Association (CMA) adopted the position at their annual meeting in Anaheim Friday. The call came after the group last year decided to study the issue and make recommendations.

The group, which represents more than 35,000 physicians statewide, called for legalization even as it acknowledged health risks and questioned the medical value of pot.

There are a lot of companies out there, especially online, who offer legal alternative highs to natural pot, they are full of chemicals and other shit.

I am not a pot advocate but at least with the natural stuff you know exactly what you are taking, with this other alternative stuff who the fuck knows what is in it?

Why would anyone listen to physicians who can't articulate the medical value of weed?

They can articulate it, but doing so puts them at odds with big phama, you have to understand the positioning and the resulting problems when you are dealing with big phama, they are actually behind the war on drugs, and when you realise that NO drug is illegal but they are listed as a controlled substance you can begin to understand the problems for Doctors who prescribe pot instead of synthesized narcotics for patients who would benefit from pot.

Ya I'm sure that matters to them.

Really they are taking a stand in the public sector and virtually eliminating any problems with the drug companies.

It's called K2 and Spice in Indiana. We have a statewide ban on it, but their selling some shit at the gas stations now that is the same thing.
Different name, switch a few ingredients around= same shit.
It looks similar to weed, LC.
I've never smoked the shit but I hear it'll knock your dick in the dirt...if you have one.

They sell it at gas stations here, too. It's like potpourri. I wouldn't smoke that shit.

I have wondered about the Horny Goat Weed, however.

They are in the process of getting it banned in New Mexico too.
They call it spice here, and it has all different names just like weed does.
I agree...youll end up with your dick in the dirt for sure.
The shit NEEDS to be taken off the market...and weed legalized.

I agree that it should be taken off the market and pot legalized, but the kid probally wouldn't have died had he not smoked it out of a plastic Pez dispenser. The plastic is what caused the chemical burns on his lungs, not the synthetic pot. Unfortunately kids do stupid shit sometimes. Thats why you have to talk to them about this kind of stuff, I'd rather them not be a dumbass and just smoke a regular joint if they feel the need to experiment so bad.
