Haunted Houses
#1
Do you go to them? Do you like them? Have you worked in one?

I am watching this show on Hulu about the McKamey Manor, Extreme Haunted House. It is an immersive haunted house and I think anyone would be crazy to do it. It is really fucked up. Its torture and people sign up for it.

You can find videos and information on line if you want.

In local news the planned haunted mansion in town was cancelled due to stricter fire codes. The haunted boat will still go on however and I won't be working it this year. Last year I got to be a part of it and it was a lot of fun.

I did a haunted house in Canada with my daughter. At first it seemed like your regular old lame haunted house with people jumping out at you with chainsaws and stuff and then it got psychological. We were trapped in a very small pitch black room with a loud fan going and body bags hitting us for a good ten minutes. I gotta say it did get my heart rate up a little. When the red light finally came on and they let us out I told my daughter this might get worse. It didn’t though and I was kind of relieved that it didn’t.

Maybe the Haunted House should have been named A Taste of Gaza.

Never been to a Haunted House. Or a corn maze. I am going on a non haunted leaf peeping hayride later this month. Other than that I'll be attending a costume party at my local cigar lounge.

What will you be wearing?

The scariest haunted thing I walked through was in a forest. And I totally forgot I helped in another haunted house, I wore a crow mask.

Another one I got to sit and watch people leaving the exit just after the chainsaw scene and every scream made me laugh.

There is a crazy lady that walks around my neighborhood everyday. When I’m walking my dogs she just stops in her tracks and stares at me with an evil look. She freaks me the fuck out, and my dogs. She doesn’t even need to dress up for Halloween, Michael Myers got nothing on her crazy ass. I always look back to make sure she’s not coming behind me with a hatchet or something and she’s just standing there with that weird look on her face.

The evil eye is nothing to sneeze at.

I don’t know where that bitch comes from, but they need to put her out on Halloween night to scare all the kids. I say hello to her everyday and she says nothing back. She just stands there with that blank evil stare. I’m gonna punch that old bitch out one day.

Probably my Superman costume or if I don't chicken out yet again, I'll dress as a woman for Halloween.

I went to them when I was young and I liked them a lot. I've discovered that the older I get the less I like being scared. Horror movies used to be my favorite genre. I no longer like being scared.

I've never worked in one, but I know people who have and they loved it. It was fun & entertaining to them to scare the shit out of people.
