Equal work, equal pay. That was the biggie.

It pains me to say this but in many ways it's still a man's world out there.

I've worked with men who think their way is better simply because they are men. I've been called a ball bustin' bitch for having the exact same attitude as they have. I can do anything a man can do unless it requires muscle and that I can hire.

WTF??? The majority of women have never ever thought of the physical appearance of their pubic area. Most men love it just the way it is.

Any discussion of the physical appearance of the female body between their legs is most likely generated by men. It's a widely known fact that most men are really worried about the size of their penis. (see reports of men dying from silicone shots to enhance their penis size.) This hang-up about the attractiveness of what hangs between their legs is mostly a male phenomena. Please don't project it on women, we have enough shit to deal with. If you don't like it... just leave!

(I'll go back into hiding now...)

I am sorry to hear that, I do work in a male dominated industry, but there are plenty of women too and nobody is treated any differently. They were pricks the guys you worked with then and were probably threatened by you. Fuck them.

The Setting: Will & Grace (one of my all-time favorite series)

The Episode: McCauley Caulkin plays a lawyer representing Karen in a case where Will will be opposing counsel.

The Scene: A Taco shop. McCaulkin and Karen are finishing a pre-trial meeting and the smug McCaulkin has inferred to Karen that after he is victorious in the trial, he'll be expecting Karen to put out sexually.

The Quote: (flipping Karen a C-Note). .... and go get yourself a wax, I like a clean work-space.

So, there you have it. Women are expected to shave, wax, and tighten everything up. All the time.

Besides the blatantly obvious employment positions [NFL cheerleader, wet nurse, exotic dancer], what American industry isn't primarily male dominated?

The biggest industry in the US: Making babies for welfare.

Unless you are suggesting that the nightly female dominated cleaning staff is systematically robbing the nation's sperm banks, procreation remains male dominated.

Just a couple points; There's no such thing as "ugly" and if there were it would only be skin deep.

I'm guessing a "muff march" is a terrible place to pick up chicks.

They don't get the money, so they are the middle men. Is that one word or two?

I like your thinking. I now see baby daddy as the nation's largest income generator.

Middleman - I've only seen it used as a single word. However, I'm not black and hold something a bit stronger than a GED - the rules are different for me.

It's probably a damn good thing Yoda doesn't crave those things.
