i don't care how crappy your relationship is, when your baby is missing you still don't speak to each other?? just like the Bianca case...mom hasn't spoken to baby daddy who had the child?? that makes no sense. even if you hate each other, if your baby is truly missing all that is forgotten in a search for her. this is total BS. unless one of them is a complete mental case like Sky's mother.

looks like the mother will be on nancy grace tonight.

Her comments kind of threw me for a loop, too.....

"I've had no contact with him; he's had no contact with me. All I know is he's the last man to see my daughter," she said. "He helped out, he would take care of her until I was on my feet, but we've been unable to get along and parent together the last few weeks." "

I wonder if this was a response to a question, or something she just blurted out?

nothing major in presser, but 2 cars have been removed from the residence by police. presser evasive. blah blah parents cooperative blah.

The mother of Ayla Reynolds told News 8 that she believes someone in Justin DiPietro's family, or Justin himself, has done something to Ayla. Justin is Ayla's father.

we have heard NOTHING from the father. :(

WATERVILLE, Maine (AP) — Relatives of a Maine woman whose toddler is missing say they feared for the girl's safety while she was staying with her father.

Twenty-month-old Ayla Reynolds has been missing since father Justin DiPietro called police Saturday to report she was not in her bed.

Her mother's stepsister Whitney Raynor said Monday that the child had bruises after being in her father's care.

Raynor says child welfare agents placed Ayla with her father in November while her mother was in rehab for substance abuse.

Mother Trista Reynolds told ABC on Monday she has been seeking sole custody.

A phone number for the father couldn't immediately be located. Police outside his house Monday said he was not there.

0600 tuesday. no news.

but these people are all Wt
poor baby.
none of these parents seem fit.
and she has an infant living in motel with her.
mother on nancy grace last night says she was never in a relationship with babydaddy, they were only friends. fuck buddies. whatever.
she says she gave up custody to him so she could go to rehab, seems she's a druggie. but her mother says DCF took the baby in October, it wasn't voluntary.
mom says baby always had bruises when she visited daddy and daddy never took her to get her baby shots or see orthopedist. (broken arm)
more blah blah blah. daddy has not spoken in public. nobody seems to know where he is. hopefully the police do.

I find it hard to believe she's actually sober. I can't quite grasp what she's talking about, since she says 'you know what I mean?" every 5 fucking seconds. She's been on several interviews, verbally bashing the hell out of babydaddy....my question is...If he is so fucking horrible, then why spread your legs for him in the first place you fucking cunt?

As far as babydaddy not saying anything goes-it may be under the advice of council, or maybe he's just keeping quiet because Trista sounds more retarded with each interview, and he doesn't want the state to think his daughter has 2 shit for brain parents.

I would like to hear from someone on his side of the street, though, Just to get a mental picture of him anyways.

Sorry, gotta comment on this as well-
Trista claims she gave custody up in November.
Trista's mom claims the state took the baby in October. Either way the baby is 20 months old now. Which means (If you go by the gov't recommended vaccine scheduled) Ayla would have been in Trista's care when she needed her 18 month boosters.

Also in one sentence, she claims not to have seen the baby in over a month, but in the next sentence, she says Ayla had bruises every time she went to visit??? If she hasn't seen the baby in over a month, than I am assuming (if she is telling the truth), that the bruises occurred in late October, early November, and she is just now coming out with this shit?

sometimes i think these cases/stories of "missing" babies feed off each other. it seems all you need is a fast-moving river and the guilty are never charged. this is my opinion in several cases.

Morning Sentinel

WATERVILLE — A section of Messalonskee Stream was drained overnight as investigators on today continued to look for clues in the disappearance of toddler Ayla Reynolds.

Investigators examined Dumpsters, garages, backyards, ball fields and small wooded areas near the Violette Avenue home where the 20-month-old girl was last seen sleeping in her bed.

“In a quick briefing, the warden service said it had been drained down because they were going to walk the banks and there would be a flyover,” Waterville Police Chief Joseph Massey told reporters this afternoon. “And because of the low water, as you might expect, visibility would be a lot better.”

A searcher scours the emptied bed of the Messalonskee Stream along West River Road near the intersection of Kennedy Memorial Drive in Waterville this afternoon for a missing 20-month-old girl.

released by babydaddy last night:

sounds like it was written by a second-rate lawyer.

Justin DiPietro statement

First, I'd like to thank everyone involved for their continued support in finding our daughter, Ayla.

I have no idea what happened to Ayla, or who is responsible. I will not make accusations or insinuations towards anyone until the police have been able to prove who's responsible for this.

Ayla was in my sole custody at the time of her disappearance per agreement between her mother and I because she was temporarily unable to care for Ayla. I have shared every piece of information possible with the police. Contrary to some statements floating around out there, I have been in communication with Ayla's mother over the last couple of weeks. The Waterville police have the transcripts from my phone for verification of those communications.

It has always been my intention to have a shared parenting arrangement with Ayla's mother and I will continue to work towards that when Ayla is returned to us.

My family and friends will continue to do everything we can to assist in this investigation and to get Ayla back home.

We appreciate the media respecting our privacy at this time. If anyone has any information that might be helpful, please contact Waterville police at 207-680-4700.

Wow!!
I am not sure if that is the same person, the grandfather looks younger then the offender. Also the bridges of their noses seems different.

Either way the grandfather does seems a bit weird, unless he is a very passionate, expressive man?!

I really don't know what to make of this case, did the father harm her? Did someone in the house that night do something with her? Did the father find out about Mom filing for full custody and hide the child? Did Mom and family abduct her and hide her so Daddy cant have her?

I just hope she is found, such a beautiful precious little girl, just look at those eyes :(

They could be, they do have similarities, maybe the grandfather was a drug user too, that would explain the gaunt stoned look in the photo.

I agree, the entire bunch seems like write trash!.
If Mommy couldn't care for Ayla and gave her to Daddy, how could she care for her baby boy?
There is more to this story somewhere....
