She worried about neighbors with sex offense records who had been helping her father get by, according to trailer park residents. Police say 39-year-old Michael Plumadore told investigators that he bludgeoned her to death with a brick, then dismembered her and hid her head, hands and feet at her grandfather's trailer before dumping the other remains elsewhere.Shumaker said Aliahna's family moved there to help take care of 66-year-old James E. "Shorty" Lemmon, who also was a convicted sex offender and died Dec. 3. He said Lemmon was "getting old" and "had trouble breathing."Shumaker said he introduced Plumadore to Lemmon shortly after Plumadore moved into the trailer park, and Plumadore moved in with Lemmon a few days later. FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The mother of Ahiliana Lemmon, Tarah Souders attended a candlelight vigil Tuesday night for her daughter.

Souders, and her step-father, were two of roughly 50 people at the vigil. It took place next to the home where Michael Plumadore allegedly murdered nine-year-old Ahiliana.

Souders was wheel chaired to the vigil. Her friends and former high school classmates said Souders has been temporarily paralyzed from the waist down.

The friends said they spoke to her for half an hour on Tuesday, and feel she will be able to walk again in a few days.

The FBI has recommended that Souders and her family not speak to the media during this time.

Rumors I heard at work today was that the mother is on some kind of medication that will paralyze a person for approximately 2 weeks. I've never heard of meds that can do that... until the woman who told me this said she has been on the same meds before. Whether there's any truth to that I don't know.

I also heard on the morning news that, never have they had a news story that has brought about so much anger in this city. Rumor has it, there will be more arrests in the near future. People around here are pissed at the mother. She KNEW when she moved in the park about all the sex offenders, she did it anyway to take care of her Child Molester father. The general consensus is that she needs to be hung right alongside the killer.

One thing that has me bothered, and I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not...How could he do what he did and not have a horrible, bloody mess inside and outside the trailer. How can you beat someone with a brick and there not be any blood, or any evidence of a clean up of blood.

I have the same question, where is the actually Crime Scene? IF he beat her with a brick right outside the door, there would HAVE to be blood in the general area. THEN the question, why was she outside? SO many questions left unanswered!!!

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — The father of a 9-year-old girl who was found bludgeoned and dismembered said Wednesday that he knew the man accused of killing his daughter and had no reason to distrust him.

"I can't talk about it because I'm still coping with it. It's too hard to talk about," Dawayne Maroney of Centerville, Iowa, said in a brief telephone interview with The Associated Press, adding that the gruesome slaying has him overcome with grief.

Maroney said he hadn't recently talked with his daughter, Aliahna Lemmon, or her mother, because they frequently changed their phone number. Maroney said he knew the man accused of killing his daughter, 39-year-old Michael Plumadore, through his daughter's mother, Tarah Souders.

Maroney said he trusted Plumadore.

"I had no reason to suspect anything," he said.

Plumadore faces a preliminary charge of murder. He made a brief initial court appearance on Tuesday where he was ordered held without bond. He is due back in court Friday morning. According to a probable cause affidavit, Plumadore admitted to killing Aliahna in the early morning hours of Dec. 22 by repeatedly striking her in the head with a brick.

Court records do not show that Plumadore has an attorney yet, said Danielle Edenfield, Allen County prosecutor's office chief investigator. The Associated Press asked the Allen County Sheriff's Department to pass along a request to Plumadore seeking an interview.

Neither have I and I studied pharmacology at university. Not at a chemistry level of course. I also have a Harvards Nursing book of pharmacology here at home. I can look up a med with its interactions precautions and what it is used for. I have never heard of this.

If, and I say if, she was on such a medication, it would be given under strict supervision and she would be hospitalised and monitored throughout the course. But I am sure all of this will be investigated. Maybe this wonder drug does exist and I have not heard of it. Very possible.
