Plans for Christmas

At the risk of sounding incredibly presumptuous, I'd step up to Gran Marnier. What Malt Liquor is to Beer, Cointreau is to Triple Sec.

I have no idea what you mean, but I might try Gran Marnier. What is it like?

It might be up to the others in here what I drink, they are used to me on the Cointreau this time of year. Might need to take a poll.

As for the blonde thing, I am tired of blondes hogging the limelight. You need attention that bad? Really?

Is that steeplechase?

Like Cointreau, Gran Marnier is made from the peels of bitter or Curacao oranges. However, the spirit base for Gran Marnier is cognac versus a sweetened neutral spirit [think Vodka and sugar]. Gran Marnier is also a higher proof than both Cointreau and Triple Sec.

If they're buying, then order Gran Marnier. If you're forced to purchase your own drinks, then condsider a dye job for Christmas.

I feel sorry for people Down Under who don't put Gran Marnier in their margaritas. They haven't lived.

aussie is funny when she is drunk. Until the paranoia sets in, then she makes us all uncomfortable.

You and Blue Tiki would be fast and famous friends with that type of thinking.

The ninja Christmas.

Daughter told "no present opening till at least seven a.m. Present opening commences at five a.m.

Play with daughter and her presents while wife does full English breakfast.

Eat breakfast, try and show as much enthusiasm as possible for daughters various gifts which this year includes a new bicycle that we will be required to watch her ride outside in the freezing cold until she gets bored and goes to see her friends.

Eat crap we would never normally eat.

Go to parents house, open presents, try and show as much enthusiasm as possible for gifts received, try and show as much enthusiasm as required for gifts daughter receives, play with daughter and presents.

Meet relatives and friends of parents none of which I can remember the names of.

Dinner, stuff myself sick followed by more crap we would never normally eat.

Fall asleep.

Awoken by daughter to play with presents.

Return home, daughter goes to bed shattered as do we.

See you next year!

We need to punish the French, ignore the Germans and forgive the Russians - Condoleezza Rice.

Yep... The king George Stakes is a Grade 2 Steeplechase over 3 miles

Of course America had been discovered earlier. It was hushed up.

Now I think you are all fancy and stuff. I bet you drink tea and eat little cakes and sandwiches without crusts.

Would you post some UK Christmas pics if you get a chance? I bet it is lovely there this time of year.

hey Oscar! they had the First ever reindeer derby at Kempton Park! dashing through the mud...hahaha

On Friday Santa’s sleigh pullers were battling it out to receive the ultimate winning prize – a trophy full of carrots.
Punters at the course were given a chance to have a festive wager on the outcome as part of Williams Hill’s annual Winter Festival.
