My BIL is staying with us for awhile. I snapped this pic of the dinner he made for himself last night.

I read that they were separated, in the process of divorce, and she'd gotten a DUI not long ago. Doesn't necessarily mean anything, but does makes me wonder if depression played a part in her death. Interesting to see where the investigation goes.

I just saw on CBS news that Mrs Kennedy committed suicide. Poor thing, I wonder what happened there. The family is going to be devastated. You never get over it.

My husband recalls getting lined up to get worm medicine occassionally when they were kids. We eat meat medium to medium well but my BIL will eat raw hamburger without batting an eye. My FIL still eats it as rare as he can get it in restaurants. Barf. I was talking with my BIL last night about it and he says he's unconcerned but he draws the line at raw poultry and pork. WTF? Damn barbarian. Naaasty.

Raw meat (most of it) has parasitic cysts. Most of the time your stomach acid kills these cysts, but not if you eat raw meat often. They host in your body and can hatch in your intestines (tapeworms) or some kinds go to your brain. Many diseases are cystic diseases.
We have parasitic cysts in our muscle tissue. Our immune system keeps them under control. When the immune system is compromised, they take over. That's one of the horrors of AIDS. Cysts are found in feces. Slaughter houses try to contain the feces, but it is impossible if you are killing and gutting animals. We cook meat because of this. Look it up. Or just use the bleach.

Yeah e.coli is a bitch. Cracker speaks truth. Especially the hamburger, which is ground up scrap parts and fat, one of the most dangerous meats to eat raw.

those kids will never get over this...years of problems and therapy to come. they are aged 11 to 17. suicide is so horribly cruel to loved ones, even though it's a too-late signal of desperation.
Mary Kennedy, the estranged wife of Robert Kennedy Jr., hanged herself in a barn behind the family's lavish home yesterday, according to reports.

Ticket sales for this event (2013) began yesterday at 10:00am. I logged on at 11:15am and I'm pretty sure I got 2 of the last general admission passes.
I'm not sure who will be in the line up for 2013 but I'm taking my daughter. Apparently it's a huge celebrity draw. Robert Pattinson tweeted that he's going so I'm taking my daughter to stalk him. Hopefully it will make for a good mother/daughter memory.

Thanks CN! My daughter insists that she's going to dress me for it. She says we have to dress like hippies so she's looking at feather earrings and headbands.
