WFAA
April 3, 2012 DALLAS — Inside Kimberlyn Crowe's Oak Cliff home, knitting has always been quiet therapy. Suddenly, it's become a way to make some noise.
"Words don't do any good because it's all been said," she declared. So she let the yarn became her words and her hobby become her voice.
"The statement is: 'Get your hands off my uterus!'" Crowe said with a laugh.
She began knitting uteruses last week. On Sunday, she joined a group of North Texas knitters inside a Garland home.
They knitted, crocheted, and sewed dozens of uteruses. They will send them to Texas Gov. Rick Perry and other select lawmakers in Austin and Washington who, they believe, have cast votes cutting funding to women's health care and limiting access to birth control.
Crowe is keen to send lawmakers a message. "Here's your own uterus; now keep your hands off mine," she said.
At Sunday's knitting party, there was hearty laughter and plenty of philosophical debate. They want the same from the lawmakers.

Hahaha!! If you flipped it over, you might be able to make a handbag out of it. Tres chic!
People come up with some really strange ways to try to make a point.

That explains a lot.
I think I read it was only found in a dairy cow and it can't be passed through milk?
I think me and mine would be resistant to anything like that. I used to encourage my kids to eat dirt and play in the bodily fluids infested ball pit at the local Roundtable. Builds immunity. I'm pretty sure I can count on one hand how many times my kids (or I for that matter) have been on anti-biotics. Plus my one grandma lived to 99 and the other is still going at 98...strong stock on the women's side.

There is a girl at work that works in the warehouse. Today she was eating an orange but her long fingernails were filled with dirt and crud. There she was peeling the fucking thing licking her fingers all happy. She must have Wonder Woman genes eh? I turned my head away real fast like.

You'll all die young. Use your hand sanitizers, eat your antibiotics while the rest of us actually build up immune systems.
I kid about some of that but I do think that antibiotics are overused and for sure the kids that aren't exposed to colds and stuff when they're young will suffer later. I'm too lazy to look it up but I think science supports that.

That reminds me that I forgot to give the dog his antibiotics, he has some kind of skin allergy. It's going to have to wait untill tomorrow though because I'm not in the mood to wrap it in cheese and shove it down his throat. If it wasn't for the damn dogs my medicine cabinent would be empty.
