6 people murdered (& the suicide of an abductor/murderer) in 36 hours.....and NO suspects arrested yet. CPD will be holding a news conference at 1 p.m. today to discuss the deadly weekend.

Cleveland police holding news conference to discuss deadly weekend
CLEVELAND - It was a deadly 36 hours in Cleveland, with six murders in the city and no suspects arrested.
At 1 p.m. today, Cleveland police will be holding a news conference at their headquarters to discuss the deadly weekend.

The murderous weekend began when Cleveland Police were called to Tavo Bar on Rockwell Avenue early Sunday after a fight broke out. There, they found Antwon Shannon, 28, in the bathroom with a gunshot wound in his stomach. Shannon later died at MetroHealth.
An Amber Alert ended tragically around 2:52 a.m. Sunday for a young mother and her baby. Police found the bodies of Latasha Jackson, 19, and her daughter, Chaniya Wynn, 1, murdered inside a garage on Union Avenue. The body of their suspected abductor, Thomas Lorde, 35, was found next to them in what authorities called a murder suicide. Lorde was once the boyfriend of Jackson, but was not the child's father.
In the afternoon on Sunday, authorities discovered two bodies in a vacant home on Dove Avenue. Cedric Tate, 20 and Trevon Brown, 19, were found murdered by a family member who called police. Both were victims of gunshot wounds. Tate's body was found on the kitchen floor; Brown's body was in the basement.
The end of the violent weekend came when police found a man reported missing dead in the backseat of a Jeep. The body of Terrance Wallace was found partially covered and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled his death a homicide, but hasn't revealed how he died.
