Obama's hiring a Faith Vote Director (announced yesterday); Michael Wear who's currently employed by the White House will move out of that role to work for the campaign. According to the report, the White House is claiming that this move/timing was not dictated by controversy over the same sex marriage announcement. That's pure bullshit imo, but who cares? Smart move. Obama's gonna lose some of the more conservative Democratic voters, but gain on the liberal side. This move can help increase the likelihood that the gains exceed the losses, imo.
