Well we went and got our (Partially Frozen) Turkey today, just to make sure we  and our guests will have Turkey on Thanksgiving day!

They had Organic Turkeys (sure looked really ugly) 15 lb Bird, $70.00!

I don't know, I used to get a farm food box and when I got a fresh "organic" turkey, it was the best I had ever had. Sooo good.

It costs you money every year. It's expensive to eat healthier.

They have the Greenwise, organic 16 pounders at Publix for 26 bucks. The regular ones are around 10 bucks, I thought that was oddly cheap. And they have tons of them, makes me think something is wrong with them.

I couldn't believe my eyes, Smiley_emoticons_shocked I should have taken a pix of the $70 organic 15.6 lb bird, it was $4.49 a pound.

(Greenwise is Publix brand, the one I looked at was Butterball)

You guy's are nuts. 47 cents a pound for a Butterball around here. A 18 lbs bird cost me 10 bucks.

I don't know what is for dinner. Bummer. ThinkingThinking. I just don't know. I need to go to the grocery store and I'm probably going to pay for putting it off last week. Do you have any idea what the market is like during the week of a holiday? Ohmaigawds.

The Professor just asked me if I was making steaks. You just don't "make" them. You have to let them get to room temp before cooking them. That may take an hr. Geez, Get with the program woman! Had she asked me a few hrs ago it would have been fine. I'm not cooking past 8pm.............fuck that!

Eat leftovers.

I put it off too because I wasn't sure what we were doing for Thanksgiving, but now we're having company. The best thing to do is make your list by aisle and check it over before you leave that aisle. I normally start at produce and don't want to be on the other side of the store having to go back through a crowd of people because I forgot the fucking onions.

I had to go to Wally's today, and while I was there I decided to check out the Turkeys. (I already have mine, just curious)

They had (never heard of) Honey Suckle White brand, in two sizes.
Under 9 lbs, or 25lbs or more! (Really Small or Big birds) All at .56cents/lb.

25lb bird, price tag was $14.09

Most Everybody can afford Turkey!

You know what they're doing, right? The poor scumbags are taken care of and kept where they need to be, the elite don't have to worry about it and the rest of us pay. You could say that's the way it has always been and I agree, but now they are triple fucking us.
