I withdraw my recommendation. I will save it for can't miss events only.
My b/f smokes and has to get up and clean the house...or something stupid like that.
I'm in a coma, melted into the chair, tongue hanging out and drooling. Maybe not quite that bad, but you get the picture.

I watched season 1. Should I go back and catch up? Is it worth my time?

I think seasons 1-4 are absolutely solid. Worth your time. I'm _very_ worried about 5 after watching episode 1. I hope I'm wrong. I've spent lots of time with these characters. I know how they should be. They better not fuck with the brilliance. Not in the final season. PLEASE! COME ON YOU MOTHERFUCKERS!

RiotGear, think about it:
How plausible was it for last season's evil character to die the way he did? Half his face blown off and yet he exits the room before falling over?
The airplane falling out of the sky in Season two?
No, the whole premise is based on nonsense mixed with humor mixed with a heavy dose of violence. (Kind of like the key ingredients in the recipe for Meth.)
Perhaps what is happening is you are tiring of the format and for that, I can understand why.
But otherwise, season five is simply a continuance of the convoluted contrivance* of seasons before.
*I like alliteration.

Oh I totally agree. It's all fantastic. But I love the format. There just seem to be a hitch in the shows step.
You know I quit drinking since the last season. Maybe now that I've come to I have higher standards. Maybe I didn't actually like 1-4. Maybe I just thought I did because I was drunk.
