I don't think you should say anything that could ruin your reputation..like..you like reruns of It's A Wonderful Life, scented candles & making sugar cookies during the holidays or that you watch scary movies through your fingers during some scenes.
I could live with all that. Not so much some of the shit I think in public and some of the shit I've jerked off to.
Whoops.

That's what the creepy guy next door used to say about my mother when I was seven.
What's it mean?

I will let your mother tell you, don't forget to ask her to touch her toes first.

Because if we're talking the latter I'm not so sure I know y'all that well...
Or, could be that everyone's being straight-up and you believe that you know us better than we know ourselves...
Wait what? NIGGA PLEASE!

So, you're not gonna try to convince me that I'm wrong about myself and that I'm actually very normal, fully engaged in meeting societal expectations, and spryly energetic about addressing every task as it arises. Damn it. I was prepared to go with Dr. RG's assessment.

Heh. I'm probably not overqualified to determine normalcy.

Being over qualified to determine normalcy is not normal, this making you over qualified to determine as much.

Which makes you perfect for the job. Your idea of "normalcy" would be relative and I might (just might) meet "standard", assuming we're somewhere in the same general ballpark. No offense meant by that assumption.

I'm pretty sure I'm not 100% normal. My normal friends can't comprehend my interest in Mock or any remotely similar forums.
It's either me or them. Maybe they're abnormal. *shrugs*

I'm pretty good at appearing normal for several minutes if you don't look too close or ask my wife. Does that count?

Yep. It counts, imo.
But, don't take that as being "sunshiny", please. People who look too closely are the ones you've really gotta worry about. Why can't they just be as shallow and self-absorbed as the rest of us? Weirdos.

Amen to that. I've got a lot of crooked, perverted shit to fantasize about. I don't need a bunch of amateurs offering up all kind of bullshit subjective critiques.

Mr. Mulder's inquiry was a good one. I used to wonder about such things, but have long since given up pondering about "normal" when it comes to human nature. It's all contingent upon where you're sitting and the view (figuratively and literally), imo.
normalcy - expectedness as a consequence of being usual or regular or common
I don't see too many at Mock trying too hard to come off as regular or common when they're obviously not. Good.
Maybe, every now and again, some seem to be trying hard not to seem regular and common when they obviously are. Not sure why.
I think most of us are probably regular and common in some aspects of our lives and beings, and full on freaks in others.
Nothing wrong with either or both, imo.

One of the many benefits of a clear conscience is a front row seat to some spectacularly raw and deeply human thoughts and ideas.

Sometimes though, in real life, it's more comfortable to sit in the back, in the dark, and ruminate over miseries and lost expectations.
