I'm with Jim on this. I got lost somewhere back in butt plugs, but when honey'd pickles was mentioned I was like a man adrift spotted for rescue. Only then did I realized too much salty pickle brine was causing me to hallucinate.
So, pretty much lost in a pile of butt plugs is what I'm trying to say.
Understandable. Honey-lathered pickles.... butt plugs; there's some possible synergy there. However, I have no conclusive evidence to suggest that sweet sticky pickley spears are in anyway related to the practice of butt plugging* - separate threads and topics completely. Butt plugs are so yesterday.
*No, I will not be conducting research.

But we all somehow instinctively know it to be true.
Honey-lathered.
I just like saying it.

Cars

Bear problems
Honeyed pickles can be used to lead hungry vegetarian bears away from picnic baskets. The longer the pickle, the more effective, of course... Fact.
(Caution: This does not work on vegan bears; the whole forbidden "honey" thing.)
I meant bear problems as in getting attacked by a bear, but thats good advice too.

Oops, sorry Clang, I was hungry when I responded to your post.
You are right, a simple honey-lathered pickle is not much use when being attacked by a carniverous bear.
In such a case, you will need a pickle that has been rubbed thoroughly with bacon grease prior to the honey application. When the bear approaches, stick out your pickle and lead him/her, at bay, for about 25 feet. At this point, you will see that the bear is salavating and that he/she is unable to take his/her eyes off of your delicious pickle. It is then safe to toss it and run (in the opposite direction of the flying pickle and the running bear).

There was about 9 or 10 pictures of the woman through the years and when I saw it I almost cried it was a woman named Joan Quigley that I had known many years ago before I went in the service. Her. She might still have the picture. I will look around for it again.
Found it............
The first picture looks like her after I left the second pic is her a few years later when I came home on leave and visited her. She was half Indian and I in one of my more foolish moments had taken her from the foster home back to Boston where her neglectfull Mother and 2 other brothers lived. I have always regreted doing that. The shit that happens when your 16 is sometimes unpleasant.
That's a sad story.

Could incorporate some DNA testing on our road trip to Sears.

I thought I did but then I met an old friend and she said I was deluding myself; I lost my virginity at least a year earlier than I thought. In hindsight, she's right but i'm not sure to who.
Could have been Rob. Or Doug...
Guess it wasn't that memorable.

WTF?? Did I say that at some point or did you just pull that out of the air?
I was young but I wasn't 12 (I don't think). I'd say more like 14 or 15.
Neither of my 13 year old twins have even kissed someone yet. Thank you baby jeebus.

My son had a g/f in 5 th/6 th grade and she broke his heart. Since then he's only liked from a distance.
My daughter looks like she's 16 and people tell me she looks like Kristen Stewart (Bella!). But she's socially uncomfortable so she gets a little freaked out by attention (although not so much on FB). Her I have to watch; fortunately they're aren't too many co-ed type functions (dances and such). Yet.
ETA: all my son cares about right now is skateboarding.
