I didn't know either, but now that I do I'd like to have a say in who gets my organs if I choose to donate. Old Arthur Rosenberger can have at it as long as there are no kids that could use them.

Yes and yes and my family knows this. And I definitely would donate my kid's organs if, Heaven forbid, it ever came to that. That way, a part of her would continue living. If YOUR child needed a transplant, wouldn't you want people to donate? Think of how desperate these parents are!
