Floaters
#1
Sometimes I stare out the window and get these floaters they kinda look like protozoa or centipedes. They come in from the corner of my eye and drift across then look another one.

The one that looks like Cindy Crawford freaks me out.

Anyone get "floaters"?

I never noticed them before, the thing is they look like worms and if I can catch a good sight of one I could swear they wiggle. I bet I get some funny looks today as I chase these things around with my eyes.

My mom and dad get them all the time. I'm sure I'll get them eventually too. My family is a mess of bad genes.

Also, I thought this was going to be a poop thread. Bye.

My understanding is that there is a massive vein that drains blood from the front of the cranium in vitro and that as the fetus developes this vein ceases to do anything. Unfortunately bits of it end up in the eyes and often break off in later life to float around in the eye. I got them in my early 40's and still find them somewhat distracting. Some people get extremely good at ignoring them but I suspect they lose the ability to detect fine movements around them in exchange.
