I'm not getting any either. I just wanted to share a bargain with you all. These candles are very rarely sold at such a low price.

My youngest stepdaughter (the one that I wanted to mail off to Clang), decided that she wanted to be a practicing witch. She bought a thin pillar candle to practice with. I came home from an appointment, to the candle burning my kitchen table. She lit it, put it on a piece of paper (she said she put it on the paper to 'protect ' the table) and then left to go get a coffee from aroma Joe's. Candles are now banned from the house.

Holy fuck.
People's irrisponsibility around this stuff is irratating to me.
The homeowners of the place I live use candles during power outages. I am going to make sure I have enough flashlights, headlamps and batteries.
There are 2 lanterns that I can use outside, I just have to figure out how to light them! I'll look it up! And maybe take a picture and post it here. (It isn't like those old style kerosene lanterns.

Since this is the cluck cluck thread I thought I would come here and ask a rug question. The carpet in this cabin is god awful green. It is disgusting. And some of thier kids burned and spilled something this summer and it is just gross to look at. So I am looking at rugs to match this color along with ugly brown couches. Nothing really matches.
I have learned that I don't mind rugs in people's houses and I think they look great-but whenever I am looking at a rug to buy I think they all look terrible. Isn't that wierd.
And then the one I saw that I liked is super bright and reminds me of the 80's wtf is wrong with me.

I typed "area rug" "rug" "cabin rug"
I looked at some of the oval shaped braided rugs, which would probably look okay in here since there are so many colors going on.

Simple jute rugs and live green plants will help to take attention away from the ugly green carpet. It can take the room from depressing to a more modern organic mood.

I just saw a headline asking how often you wash your sheets so I clicked on it to see what people were saying. Once a week seems to be the most common and the author went on to say that mites live in your bedding and feed off your dead skin cells.

Sounds like once a week may not be often enough!

I think we used to call the oval rug a rag rug.
