I went out with this real good looking dude when I was about 18 and he was at least 10 years older...met him doing a gig for a friend's older sister so he was a virtual stranger...i stupidly went to his apartment ...all the lights were off and he had his windows covered with black shades...only lights on in the place were from his fish tank...bizarre...scary...made it out ok but sometimes shutter at some of the dumb ass things i did and survived. went out on a blind date once when a freshmen at college...he was such a goober I crawled out through a window from a fraternity party and went back to the dorm. i've always felt badly i did that and was so cruel.

Mine is really funny, to everyone except me. And by the end of it, I had a bad migraine.

Went on a blind date once. The guy was OK looking, seemed nice and friendly. About half way through dinner he mentioned why he liked dating "big girls".....so he could borrow their clothes. Turns out he was a cross dresser. Needless to say that was our last date.

That is too funny. I lived with a guy who used to wear my clothes but didn't find out until years later from a mutual friend.

Meeting my husband was the spontaneous date from heaven. I once dated a guy (briefly) and it all went to hell when he took me home to meet his mom. She immediately started handing down family heirlooms and planning the wedding. I don't know why. I broke up with him for his own safety.

Bad dates are like sea sickness. Everyone around you thinks its funny while you think you're going to die.

Ok, it was in the 90s. I had this part time job in the evening and there was this mature aged woman working there who was in charge (I am still friends with her). I got on really well with her. She knew that I was getting over a horrible break up as I told her all about it.
Unfortunately, her being old fashioned she thought that all I needed was another man! She told the computer geek guy who worked out the back about me and before I knew it he asked me out on a date. It was one of those 'nowhere to run, nowhere to hide' type of situations. I didn't see it coming, I had no back up. He just pounced on me. I think his skin was oily from memory. Anyway, whilst he was over the moon that I said yes, I was in total panic mode. So, we agreed to go the comedy club to see a comedian here called 'Bob Downe'. I was a huge fan and thought he was hilarious. I got a migraine throughout the show and didn't think it was funny. I think it was the stress of the situation that I was not coping with at all. I had also invited one of my good friends on this 'date' in order to protect me. However, she did not. She left me out there floundering, laughing as this guy tried to get closer and closer. At one stage, his hand was right near mine, I had not seen it but my friend did. She was laughing her head off, and I looked down and nearly screamed as his hand looked like a huge spider. It was so horrific. It was obvious what the next step was going to be. Thank God I saw it in time. My friend had a great night she laughed all night. I did not. He asked me out again. I had to tell him that I was not wanting to get into another relationship blah blah. He really thought he was in. I think it was a terrible shock for him. He is now happily married, and I am still me.

When I was much younger, I went on a few dates with this guy. We had always had a good time and he took me to a party one night, where he ditched me for 3 hours and when he finally showed back up, he'd changed his clothes and I was pissed. While he was gone, some drunk asshole puked on my $250 shoes while i was wearing them. He had no valid explanation, just that he had "shit to do". I made him take me home and never saw that guy again.
Just shut up. Just shut the fuck up right now.
