I'm glad he wasn't harmed too and he could screw his way through every time zone in the world.
Happy Veterans Day..

You two are great!
I’m almost getting so old that I’m forgetting the details of my escapades. Almost.

She was in Norway with her parents and she was either really bored and hooked up with me, or was head over heels in love/lust. Your call.

I think she may have just been a prostitute, MS. You tend to overthink things.

I'm sure the hot buttery monkey love was genuine. Just because you had to give her some bananas don't make it less buttery.

Happy Veterans Day!
I watched the parade in town today. As I was waiting for the parade to start I saw a gentleman walking up with a walker and a military hat on. The lady that was with him said, "You can watch from here" and he stated very loudly, "I want to be in the parade" I looked at her and nodded. I wasn't going to stop him! Sure enough when the parade came by he got right in. They walked on for a while and later I saw him walking along on the sidewalk. It was very sweet. It made me cry a little. I was glad to see this parade today. I have several relatives and friends who have served in the military.

Small town America. My favorite. Great pix!
I really like the truck in the last picture. I'm imagining it a different color.

I just want to say something about veterans today. People signed up to go into the service and when it comes time to be deployed they sometimes have no clue where they are gonna go. Sometimes they cannot even tell their loved ones, wives, husbands, children where they are going. They go and perform their duties and hopefully make it back.
Many die and many come back different from how they went out. They need to be honored and Veterans day is a bigger day than many others. They are our neighbors, brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers. I remember going to Diego Garcia and not being able to say where I was, it drove my parents nuts. Today is the day when we show appreciation towards the defenders of our country and for them giving their lives and families to us simple folks. Our country needs these people and if not for them we would not have the Peace that we have now. It's truly a big deal.

I never risked my life or anything, the bravest thing I ever did was retrieving the first line of the refueling ship in a storm in the North Atlantic. They shoot it over then add heavier lines until the actual refueling hose comes over. The Chief said "Don't go down there" but I didn't listen as the waves were washing over the lower deck. I got it and later he thanked me. It was really rough and I didn't want to waste time. But I was young and stupid.

I don't think it matters if you actually never "risked your life" the point is that you were willing to and that is what you signed up for.

I was ready to sign up for the Air Force Reserves. Made it to MEPS and peeing in a cup in front of someone. But I met someone and got married instead. I would have been chaplains assistant.
That would have been quite a path!

I almost went into the Merchant Marines after, had my card and everything. But Reagan was President and there was more money to be made in construction. I would have been out 6 months in 6 months making 30,000 a trip. That was good money at the time. It was 1983
