have a no serve policy (like bars) after awhile?
I first saw the photo on The Onion. Here's their take...

Any of you have any personal experience with an eating disorder (besides Ramsey and her fucked up snack habits)?

She does look hideous and I guess she just doesn't see it.
Body dysmorphia. Shame.

I think it might make sense for gyms to adopt a "no service" policy. But, I'd object to Jims adopting a "no service" policy.
Stalling here and gettin' cheezier by the minute - sorry for the derail, Ab-Crunch.

A-ok! You can only imagine that people have told this woman time and time again that she's wayyyy too skinny. I wonder if she knows her picture is on The Onion.
She needs to eat some egg mcmuffins.

I agree; not healthy looking at all. Your abs look tight and toned; she looks skeletal. Can't see her backside in the photo, but guessin' she could use some eggnog to go along with the egg mcmuffins.
P.s. My exclusive service provider's name is Robert James, goes by the shortened version of his second name. I'd be really sad if he tossed out his "no shoes, no shirt, full service" policy. Thus, you can understand my objection.

I have a fucked up relationship with food. I give it power. I'm not nearly as messed up about it as I was when I was younger and would vomit, I haven't done that in a long time, I'm older & wiser and deal with things in a more healthy manner now. (Thanks for the shrink, Mom & Dad) I still have occasional moments where I can't bear to look in the mirror because I feel enormous with an ass the size of Texas but now I recognize something has triggered that and that's what I work on.

My daughter went through a few weeks where she was making herself throw up. She stopped but she's constantly obsessing about her weight so we're not out of the woods. She could easily go back to it.

My oldest went through that too User. I am glad it didn't last long. It's pretty sad that in our society kids have to resort to that because of body image.

I used to be anorexic when I was a teenager. I had a lot of stress in my life, and I would not eat. That was my coping mechanism, I guess. I got down to 85 pounds.

It was probably the one thing in your life that you could control & then there is that pesky need to be perfect. Shrinks will give a plethora of reasons on why that happens to some & not others. It usually only affects those with a Type A personality.

My youngest stepdaughter did that pretty much all through High School. We had her in counseling, but it didn't help. I'm not sure whether she matured out of it, or if my "I am no longer feeding you, just so you can throw it up" tactic worked, but she did finally stop doing it her senior year.

I wouldn't eat when I was a teenager either because my friends were really skinny and said I had a big butt. Now they're all porkers .

No, but I used to have a jug just like the one in the corner (seriously).
