It'd be an interesting read.

Actually not, I am serious.
My Dad was in the seminary, but obviously washed out before vows. Skirts were more appealing than a life of celibacy.
If you're truly on a journey, I think it might be interesting for anyone who might like to read along.
And if it's just a troll, than make it a good read and don't bore us.
Its not a troll but I'll try not to bore you but I'll probably fail on that account at least until I find out if I get accepted into the seminary. The discernment process doesn't seem like it would be of interest to many people. Its going to involve alot of praying, daily Mass, Bible reading, attendance of a discernment group, discussions with a spiritual director/priest.
I don't think my initial stories will be as interesting as the priest at the retreat who told us how the first day at seminary he got his suitcase stuck in a door, broke all the glass in the door, was told to report to the Monsignor, confessed what he did and said he'd pay the damages, and all the Monsignor said was "Sharpen thes pencils and we'll call it even."

I don't think I'll ever look at a priest the same way again. It was pretty awful to learn that some were diddling little kids, now I'll be wondering if, in the privacy of their cell like rooms, they hang out in places like RH or Brawl Hall and punch the keyboard with wild abandon posting shit like I PWND YOU, BITCH, TROLOLOLOLOL or teh lolcows are ripe for milkin', muwhahahaha.

Yeah I actually thought the percentage of Catholic priests diddling kids would be higher. One of the priests at the retreat mentioned it was like 4% of Catholic priests, how that was 4% too many and how it has tarnished the reputation of the Catholic Church.

Understatement of the year right there.
