I have a little bit of angst over these last 5 games but my hope is massive. Nick has been brilliant, I view that Dallas game as an aberration & our defense is coming together beautifully. I'm very proud of my team.
I thought of you when I was watching the Vikings game.

I was at a family get together, so wasn't really watching the early parts of the game, but would send my 6 year old downstairs occasionally to get a score update.
Now, it's 23-7 in the 4th quarter and I get a chance to watch the end of the game and savor a rare win against the Pack, and the defense just caves in.
Let's not kid ourselves, without Rodgers Green Bay is just another average football team, but I still would've taken the win.
Philly comes to the dome in a few weeks.

The Cards are the surprise of the season.
To me, at least.

They've got a tough schedule remaining, with 3 divisional games and the Eagles included, but they've snuck up on a lot of people.
I kinda like following them as their top 2 WR's are local Minneapolis products: Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd.

So I was watching my Broncos make mincemeat out of the Patriots until around nine when the Walking Dead came on. Then I watched shuffling zombies be horrifically decimated and destroyed for an hour and a half before I realized I forgot to change the channel. I haven't seen that much choking since the peanut-butter and dry cinnamon eating contest. Peyton Manning, much as I hate to admit it, is always and forever Tom Brady's bitch. If they were in prison he'd be washing Brady's underwear and shit.

Yet again this year, my husband will be in the 49'ers owner's box for Sunday's game.
I feel like I ought to be pissed but I know he'd take me if I really wanted to go. It would be a bitch hauling all that laundry down there and I doubt they'd understand why I would keep walking away from the game box.
My husband will probably come home with a picture of him and Jim Harbaugh or something crazy like that though. He had an awesome time last year.
This year is disappointing so far but I didn't really think they could keep up the streak 3 years in a row. I'm not throwing in the towel yet but they're just not playing the same this year. :(

There is no amount of coercion, reward or monetary gain enough to ever make me a Raiders fan.
Ever.

I had to root for them, they were playing the competition in my division. I recently rooted for those fuckin' Giants & I damn near choked on it. I'd almost rather lose a bra size than to ever have to do THAT again.
