We have the 4th pick with 9 selections total.

Where will Geno Smith go? Care to make a guess?

I will confidently predict that he will NOT go to CHI, DET, GB or MINN.

I'll say CLE drafts him.

Does Chip Kelly REALLY know what he's doing? *worried look*

He had some SERIOUS athletes at Oregon, and had a terrific offense. Who's to say he can't be successful at this level?

Give him a chance, you never know.

Hope springs eternal with me in regards to just about everything so I'm excited about the future, I just get a little nervous when I remember he has never coached in the NFL before.

The Chiefs have the number 1 pick overall...and I don't have a clue who they will pick. I don't follow the draft. Too much other bullshit surrounding my life right now.

Sound like they're going to take some Left Tackle from Texas A&M.

The younger brother of Notch Johnson.

He's a puny little dude. ^^^^^^ Lane is 6'6" & weighs over 300 lbs. If Michael manages to get the starters job Lane will be protecting him & God knows Michael needs THAT.

His hands are 10 18 - is that inches from the base of his palm to the tips of his fingers?

According to our local scribes, Vikings GM Rick Spielman hit it big in this years 1st Round.

At 23, he landed a defensive tackle that was projected to go in the top 10. The last time a Florida Gator 'fell' to the Vikes in the 1st Round you ask?

2009- Percy Harvin

With the 25th pick, we selected a 6'2" CB out of Florida State. Supposedly a stud in press coverage. Much needed against the likes of Calvin Johnson and Brandon Marshall (who we see 4 times a year).

Then, at 29, Spielman traded 4 picks for the Pats 1st rounder. We took a WR from Tennessee who is big and runs a 4.4 40-yard dash.

Time will tell how he did, but his track record isn't too shabby.

How much do you think Combine stats are worth when it comes to making a selection?

I believe his combine performance hurt Mantei Teo.

I do believe they play a big part in where someone is drafted.

Great play!
I love quarter backs that can run the ball.

If you are a Detroit Lions fan this guy just jinxed your team. Sorry 'bout your luck.

Detroit Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley won a college national championship at Auburn just three seasons ago. Now he thinks his pro team is ready for a shot to win it all this season.

"I expect big things," Fairley told the Detroit News on Thursday. "I am going to say we are going to the Super Bowl because I am competitive and that is what I want for the team.

As an aside, Faith Hill will no longer be singing before the Sunday night games, it's been turned over to Carrie Underwood. I can live with that choice. Someone had first told me it was that slut Taylor Swift and I had a WTF moment.
