I don't want to put my hands on a fat, smelly person either. I might accidently touch a skin tag.

EW. **shudder** Do you ever wonder why they don't get those removed? Or big moles? Especially on the face. The director of my old office is a handsome guy. But he has a huge mole next to his nose. It was an effort not to stare at it when I talked with him. I always wondered why he didn't get it removed. It was not attractive and it's not like he couldn't afford it if insurance considered it cosmetic.

Yeah, that's weird. I saw a lady at the store the other day that had about 50 of them on her neck. And if I had a mole on my face I'd get it removed pronto, even if it left a hole. I'd have to put a ring in there or something.

I wasn't mocking the death of a Mock member's child.

However . . . the actions, comments and attitudes of the mothers of dead children are fodder for publicly posting my personal postitions.

Dead adult children are fair game as are mothers of dead minors.

I get it Crash. However, my opinion remains unchanged. Just because I think it's cruel to mock certain things doesn't make me stupid. You are the one that is stupid because you can't grasp the simple fact that everyone has a level of what is acceptable to them and what is not. Mine is clearly different than yours.

Is this a bad time to bring up Moose? Because I can spot some acceptability issues on the horizon...

Do you all know how to perform the Heimlich maneuver?

[/quote

I have used it twice. The most terrifying was when I used it on my 16-yr.-old son after a horrible car wreck. It happened while he was confined to a wheelchair with shattered bones (including ribs). Was scared to try but had to do something. It worked (piece of steak "shot out" like a bullet from a gun - all the way across my kitchen).

Second one was our dog, believe it or not. Same effect.

Holy crap Teacher. That had to be terrifying.

Ramsey, it was more than terrifying since he was injured so badly, and I was so scared I would make him worse. But when your child is choking to death, you have to make an instant decision.

Mockers are allowed to mock - this happened when I was young - not an ELDERLY person like I am today. Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Why, yes. Yes, I am.

BTW, The first word in your reply should have been "From", not "You".
