FREEZE DRIED PETS
#1

Would you do that with a beloved pet?

These animals are all dead & freeze dried.

I would feel uncomfortable, but hell; stay means stay then.

I'd prefer to allow my pets to be dust in the wind like everyone else.

I bury mine but you have to do it quick before rigor mortis sets in. When they are soft you can put them in a ball, thus making the hole smaller and less work. It sucks when their legs are all splayed out. You have to bend their legs over and sometimes they snap and the body "burps".

Duchess..........I've always wondered. What do they do with a horse that croaks? Do they sell it to a dog food place?

I don't know the "real" answer to this, however my sister-in-law's horse passed away about a month ago. They buried her.

It all depends on the horse & I can only speak of my own experience, if it's a horse just for loving like my rescues are then a hole is dug in the infield of the training track and it is buried there, if it's a racehorse that dies & it's insured (many are) then a necropsy must be performed so that one can collect the insurance payout or be arrested for insurance fraud because you've tried to get over on the insurance company. There is a horse cemetery here, two of his biggest moneymakers are buried there with headstones. It's a very pretty spot with a manmade stream & trees, it would be perfect if it weren't for the goddamn bamboo that the former Mrs. planted.

Using horse meat as dog food has been outlawed in the United States since the 70's.
