Don't worry much before or during posting something; but sometimes it doesn't come across as intended when I read it back.

It usually takes me exactly 15.1 minutes after such a post to process that second thought fully. Too late.

Ah well. "Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke/gibe" is my general mindset outside of work. Never really regretted an internet post.

I actually couldn't post or edit my original comment in this thread at all for like 10 minutes. Ironic snafu.

I can only edit for 15 minutes. Maybe I need to think faster to beat my second thoughts to the finish line, but doubt I'll feel motivated to work on it.

Sometimes the unintended interpretations of a post are the best anyway. (Pretty sure I'm preaching to the choir with you on that front. )

There are no different rules for me to edit my posts than for anyone else.

There are very few reasons to ever have to delete or edit another person's posts, pretty much only if PI is posted (which I've only seen happen once or twice here). I don't think moderation has much to do with editing, deleting or moving posts on a site like Mock.

You are both completely missing my point, I said nothing about abusing your buttons I am merely stating it is essential that somebody who moderates a forum has the ability to moderate it, or you might as well just remain a normal reg poster.

Having some level of responsibility to a place that I already cared about isn't a big deal or change; not cunt-inducing.

I didn't miss your point. Moderating may have a very different connotation to some based on where they hang out. Doesn't matter. As long as it's clear what moderation at Mock means to those moderating here, there's no issue.

I'll just jump in at this point -

Hot D has a Mod panel, you're well aware of what that consists of. One of the reasons I asked her to mod Mock is because I believe she has integrity, I appreciate that she holds herself to the same standard as Member's are held to, User does the same. They haven't let a little bit of power in a small, obscure forum go to their heads, I knew they wouldn't, I knew they wouldn't take advantage. They both have Mod panels and the ability to mod Mock in the proper fashion, editing, deleting, managing threads, etc. and I trust them both with it.

I cannot imagine why you would jump to such a ridiculous conclusion, ESAD.
