for one because it has more sugars than most cold drinks, cokes, pops, out there. and it being diet at that. That aspartaine (sp?) Is no joke. Go research it. Terrible stuff I tell ya. I no longer drink cold drinks at all. Thanks to my trainer.

I only drink Diet Coke but maybe we can quit together. A few weeks ago, I was buying one at the store and some guy told me that they'd done some study where they put something metal in Diet Coke and within a few weeks it was totally corroded or something. I dunno. I was covering my ears at that point so I probably misheard him but I got the point.

I used to drink a vitamin water everyday until I got in to my DC habit. I'ma go back to drinking those.

I drink bottled too. Lately I've been having two a day; I'd start my first about now and then have another mid afternoon. I think I'm going to go get a small fountain drink of regular coke (heh-heh, with my once a month or so egg mcmuffin). The fountain drinks are half water anyway but I'll still get my coke/caffeine/carbonation fix.

My old mate Chris lived and worked in Australia for a year and he said the heavy use of aussie slang was still very common all over the country. He said in Darwin he had trouble understanding a fucking word anyone was saying.

And soap operas are a reflection of the the societies in which they are based. And in aussie soaps every other word is ripper you drongo!

Ramsey, I wouldn't worry very much. The tap water in the USA is frightening enough that adding a little more poison to a cup of tea maybe will just make you stronger. You don't want to be so healthy that you outlive everyone you know.

Yes....Tap water has traces of medicines people dump down the drain that are not filtered sufficiently along with questionable additives for our own protection like chlorine and fluoride.

In my area because of depleted aquifers our drinking water is drawn from the Delaware river and who knows what was dumped up stream from us. We also have the greatest number of super fund sites of any state leaching poison into ground water.
