BG1's mosh pit
For MS, the latest release from NR. The Blu-ray (35 years and a night in Chicago) will be out on 12/2. Gillis looks pretty good all things considered. It's just not NR without Jeff Watson though IMO.

Thanks for the Night Ranger.

It's Watson at the opening of 'Goodbye', which would be my favorite track of theirs.

I posted a story about it in "Other music news" last week. The Duke is dedicated to a deceased leukemia patient here in Az.

I remember that and wasn't sure if that was the song.

Yup that's the one. Wayne's father has been all over the youtube postings. More folks need to get into the registry. I've seen some pretty cool outcomes from marrow transplants. Like this one: http://tucson.com/news/local/tucsonan-li...74b5e.html

Of course they're not all happy endings, but the list of donors very limited, so anything to raise awareness could potentially save a life. It's pretty cool that LOG came together to get this done.

Steve Walsh... hands down one of the most talented vocalists of the 70's era, but his method of groove while acceptable at the time is straight up hilarious.

New Whitchapel. This one is an autobiographical piece penned by front-man Phil Bozeman about the tragic loss of his father and the darkness that ensued when he was 10 years old. The closing scene is actually the graves of his mother and father. Pretty good piece. These guys have come a long way over the last 2 albums.

Third single released from Metallica. Kind of a generic Metallica song. Sounds like it came off of Death Magnetic.
