I've missed seeing him throw those field long bombs to DeSean. That was some very exciting football.
Indeed it was. Paul Turner is looking good. He's caught everything that's been thrown at him and can find the crevices in a defense. Also, Ron Brooks and Leodis McKelvin are looking like our #1 and #2 CB's.

Gotta admit, it's still better football with RG3 in than whoever Cleveland was going with before. Besides, you never know, dude could come back strong, Washington jacked his career up mishandling him. And his ego took a hit which could make him a little more humble.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

I can't remember if it's right or left, but there's one direction he can't throw from when he's scrambling. That's how everyone shut him down. That's why he was always injured. Force him in the direction he can't throw from and make him run it and take the hit.

With regard to Washington "mishandling" him... His mouth is what got him "mishandled."

Washington has a long history of not being able to work with players' personalities and larger than life egos, they're an awful team with horrible owners. Of it was only RG3 I'd say it was all him. But they can't get along with anybody.

They are in my division. They are the enemy. Now they have DeSean. Ugh. Buffalo has Shady...another ugh. I sure hope to see some magic this year. They broke my heart last year.

You're a Denver Donkey fan. Is Shanahan really the shitty coach RG3 claimed he was?

Shanahan was a hell of a good coach, but very old school. No nonsense type. He and Elway were not friends, but they were both taskmasters and alpha types who knew how to win. One of Shanny's worst failings was that he tended to rely too heavily on his star without making good support decisions. When he was coaching Elway he put garbage receivers and Running backs in with Elway knowing Elway was good enough to win with crap around him. But that weakness always showed up against really good teams and that's why Elway got blown out by guys like Doug fucking Williams and the Redskins. Once Shanny was gone they built up a running game with Terrell Davis, three a couple decent blockers and receivers in there, and Elway started bringing home Lombardi trophies.

So the answer is, Shanny was a very good but not fantastic coach, who has a Stuff neck in dealing with divas. Bad fit for RG3.

4-8, 67 yards and an INT. 49 of those 67 yards came from his first pass for the Browns. It's only preseason, but the GB defense was able to contain him.

I don't pay any attention to preseason. They hold too much back.

He gave it everything he had in that drive.

It's also worth mentioning that the whole Browns team made too many fundamental mistakes.

Wentz came out strong like RG3 did but also threw the pick in the red zone like RG3 did. Winston & company didn't look that great either. You can't win a football game with 5 turnovers. Tough luck for the Bucs. I'm disappointed in Agolar but super stoked on the chemistry between Wentz and Erts. Schwarts' defense is looking pretty stout, but still needs improvement at Cornerback. Offensive line still lacks depth, which really sucks. Lane Johnson may be looking at a 10 game suspension, if that's the case we're pretty much screwed on pass protection.

I'd like to kick his ass! *flexes*

If there has been a terrible mistake, I'll take that back, but because this has happened before I'm not so inclined to give him the benefit of doubt. Grrrr.

I hear ya. Erts and Celek may be the best blockers on our O line. Not even kidding. The good news is our defensive line looks pretty kick ass and we do have some depth at running back, so some well designed plays can work around the weakness at O line... If our receivers can catch the GAWDAMNED BALL!

One pre-season drive does not a season make.

Meanwhile, isn't Fq2 an Indy fan? I got a secret I been keeping from you crackers.

True, he will probably injure his knee within the first 4 games and that will make his season.

Have you guys seen Peyton's Directv commercials? He's running around in his bathrobe and Lionel Ritchie is singing Peyton on Sunday mornings.

Dorial Green-Beckham, heretofore referred to as DGB, traded to the Eagles for OL Dennis Kelly.

Titans trying to save some face while getting rid of DGB. Tons of talent, too many problems. They get the question out of town and plop Donkey Kong in the "What did this pick get us?" answer. Too bad Dennis is too big to play guard, and not good enough to play tackle. Idunno, maybe he flourishes akin to King Dunlap's blossoming in San Diego. I don't expect it, he looked like garbage with the 2nd team OL.

The Eagles get a headcase 6'5 receiver. They get to look like they're addressing obvious needs. Maybe. All I know is that in preseason game 1, the WRs and OL looked like insults to football. Neither can really get much worse. Pederson takes the risk with the even trade tho.
